Dear GUAA Member:

The vast majority of the surveys received from the Charleston GUAA Meeting were very positive. The Charleston Place Hotel received very favorable comments, as did the city of Charleston itself. Once again, GUAA' s programming received very high marks. So, hats off to our Programming Committee Chair, headed by Mark Walker, and to our Meeting Planner, Karen Gritton with Gritton Productions for pulling off another successful GUAA meeting!

Almost every survey we received from Charleston mentioned what a great networking opportunity GUAA provides for its delegates. Just about every major Group carrier is represented at GUAA's meetings, so there is an excellent chance for delegates to keep abreast of our ever-changing industry. Some of the larger carriers present in Charleston included MetLife, Fortis Benefits, Guardian, Standard, Hartford, Sun Life, Prudential, Cigna, Principal, Trustmark, Great West, Canada Life and Anthem, among others.

Please don' t miss out on our Washington D. C. meeting June 23-26. You will have excellent networking opportunities and a tremendous selection of informative workshops to choose from. Not only will you have a chance to make new friends and establish new contacts in our industry, but the Washington D. C. location is within walking distance of the major attractions in D.C., including The Vietnam Memorial Wall, the Smithsonian Institute, The Lincoln Memorial, and The Washington Monument. Bring your family, friends, and co-workers to what should be an excellent meeting in our nation's capital! We look forward to seeing you in Washington D. C. in June!
